So we are out sightseeing the whole week this week and these are some of our first pics. We went out to the White Mosque in AbuDhabi Monday. It is such an amazing sight- so huge, so much marble, and intricate decoration!

New singer who I think is great

So they play pretty much all the normal US music over here but lately they started playing this new artist Emeli Sande. She has four popular songs they are playing the heck out of here. My favorite is "heaven" and then there is "next to me", "daddy", and "read all about it". I am not sure if they are playing her state side yet and if not I would recommend checking her out. Not much on iTunes but a lot on YouTube.

In Dubai Again

So last week was the big traveling circus roadshow of retail. We had three different groups in town visiting, and then my team traveled Dubai, Riyadh, Kuwait, Bahrain, and then back to Dubai. It was a great week, lots of learnings and for most of the people it was their first times in Riyadh and Bahrain so they were excited to see the sights and experience the different cultures.

Because of the 14hr days, I got to take a three day weekend which was great. The weather in Dubai has been so warm in the day, and cool in the nights but still a warm breeze. Makes for great rooftop bar weather in the evenings. I found an amazing flower wholesaler on the far end of Dubai that is SO cheap and has an amazing selection. I had been missing have fresh flowers in the apartment but wasn't about to pay the mall prices for a few stems. So that was a great find.

The past few mornings, the cool air on land meets with the warm ocean breeze and it creates this cool fog effect in my neighborhood. I like to just sit on my balacony with my coffee and watch it creep it. Pretty cool to see it swirling all around the buildings.
